Absolutely perfect shop! Full of creative artwork and kind people. I did not catch my server's name but he was fun, kind, and super sweet! It was my first time in the shop, and he asked my drink preferences and recommended a delicious blended coffee. Wonderful experience and a perfect atmosphere to vibe in. Went there for the first time today and I love their service. The sandwich and drink I had were absolutely delicious. It did take a while to get the sandwich I ordered, but they were busy and there was only one lady behind the counter making them(you go girl!) so I understand. I'll definitely be going back.
I love this place! I’ve lived here all my life, and have never been inside, and now I regret not coming sooner. The atmosphere is amazing, there are so many tea/coffee options, the staff is attentive, so kind, and quick. There are couches for you to sit on if you don’t want to sit on chairs at a table, and there are also card/board games for you to play with people! I saw a sign that said you could get a bowl of cereal for $2, and I thought to myself… this is heaven. I had a slice of scrumptious banana bread that had chopped walnuts on it, and it was deliciously moist and flavorful. I was planning on spending a lot more money than I actually did. My friend got tea with soy milk, and she wasn’t even charged extra for soy milk unlike other places. The food and drinks are affordable, but amazing! I also loved having the option to have my tea hot, or iced. It was quiet enough for people to study, and also played really cool music. I will definitely be back! 💛
Cool place. Will return. Food is simple, but way overpriced ($10 for a very plain grillcheese sandwich with no side) and pepsi with no refills is a bummer. I will return for the other things the place offers.
Caterpillar Cafe is a quaint lil cafe inside uptown mall in the record store. When we first moved here.... I searched for a place that does blended coffee drinks. Dutch bros was always my go to but tis such a long drive now that we moved here to Richland. So the search began.... It took me awhile but I finally found caterpillar. It tastes amazing.... And is definitely way healthier than my db. My blended drink is gluten free even. The price isn't too bad either. Just a little more spendy than db But not by much. There is a piano in the cafe you can play. The customer service is usually pretty good as well! I'm glad I found you caterpillar!!!

Great little cafe with a variety of food and drink options. Staff was very friendly. The food was good, and the cake batter bites were delicious! We visited for the first time recently, for a pinball release tournament for the new D&D machine. The pinball tourney was super fun! It’s also connected to a board game and bookstore - basically all my favorite things under one roof!
This place is so cute and cozy! Really great vibes and delicious coffee, the man who made my coffee was really nice to me as well
my favorite cafe in the tri cities. they have really cool pinball machines and board games you can play, and the tables are perfect size if you want to play magic or any other card game. i love to come here to draw and i always order the matcha latte, seriously the best matcha in town! its a bit pricey but so is everywhere else and i would much rather support a local business that is very active with the artists in the community than something like starbucks.
